The Knot is a commercial multi-operator ticket that can be used on any of the following operators:

This covers around 90% of the Staffordshire Bus network. The ticket will cost £7 for unlimited travel all day on any of the above operator’s buses.

The Wayfarer Ticket

Off-peak multi-journey day ticket valid for travel on most trains and buses in Derbyshire and all three East Staffordshire Stations.

Derbyshire Wayfarer tickets can be used between any of the stations on the following rail lines (which include all three East Staffordshire Stations) at any time on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays and after 09:00 on Mondays to Fridays:

  • Buxton – Chapel-en-le-Frith – New Mills (Newtown)

  • Sheffield – Hathersage – Hope – Edale – Chinley – New Mills (Central)

  • Sheffield – Chesterfield – Alfreton – Langley Mill

  • Sheffield – Chesterfield – Derby

  • Derby – Belper – Ambergate – Cromford – Matlock

  • Derby – Long Eaton

  • Derby – Tutbury and HattonUttoxeter

  • Derby – Willington – Burton-on-Trent

  • Shirebrook – Whitwell.

These tickets can be used on the above lines on trains operated by CrossCountry, East Midlands Railway, Northern and TransPennine Express The tickets are not valid to/from East Midlands Parkway.
