There are lots of wonderful traditions associated with Christmas that have been largely forgotten so now is the time to discover them again! We enjoyed 12 full days of Christmas during the mid-16th centuary, some of which are hilarious!

The Great Hall will be dressed beautifully, and the smell of cloves and oranges, and you will have a guest appearance of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth I in all her Christmas glory.

So ‘Eat, Drink & be Merry!’ Wear costume if you like and have this candlelit evening in this romantic Castle of Tutbury.

On arrival you will enjoy a a festive buffet before your performance in the Great Hall.

Tickets are £28.50 per person and must be bought in advance.
