Handmade and sustainable Christmas crafts

Join Sarah for a crafty afternoon (or a crafternoon!) of making Christmas gifts for your family and friends. Learn to make meaningful handcrafted gifts that don’t cost the Earth this festive season.

You will make a number of items and have the know-how to continue making more of your favourites for everyone on your Christmas gifting list. Hot drinks and tasty treats included!

What you will make and take home:

• Woven gods eye hanging decoration/gift tag
• Mini rag tree hanging decoration/gift tag
• Small beeswax candle in a jar
• Friendship bracelet on presentation card
• Winter lip/chapped skin balm

Some personal thrifty and crafty Christmas traditions will also be shared, over festive drinks and yummy treats, showing you more examples and ideas to make this Christmas a handmade Christmas, such as foraged tea blends and a foot scrub that smells good enough to eat!

The workshops are very much about using the materials we have available to us, which may be recycled, foraged, donated etc and underpinned by using resources wisely, with the aim of reducing personal consumption of plastic products and plastic packaging.

Woodmill Workshop at Forest Harvest, near Yoxall is a beautiful, cosy workshop also made from recycled, foraged and donated materials in a stunning scenic location. Directions here.
