Unplug and unwind, ready for the weekend!

Relax and enjoy the centenary woodland and surrounding meadows as we take a  gentle walk, awaken our senses, and connect mindfully with nature. What does the season bring to this beautiful woodland setting?

Forest bathing has impressive benefits for our health and wellbeing. Immersing our senses in nature in this way has a relaxing and restorative effect on us, reducing our blood pressure and stress levels and improving our energy levels, concentration and memory. It can even help boost our immune system.

We’ll meet in the car park before heading off to find the perfect spot to pause. We will rest and explore whatever the weather so please make sure you dress suitably. We will provide some sit mats, but if you are not comfortable on the ground (or moving to and from that position), you are welcome to bring a camping chair.

The session will be rounded off with a warming cup of tea and time for reflection.
