TUTBURY MUSEUM
Summary
Tutbury Museum is on the ground floor of Charity House, which was the Old Soup Kitchen. It is centrally located in the village and a free car park and bus stops are nearby.
The Museum is staffed entirely by volunteers who are keen to promote Tutbury and its heritage. Included in the collection are old maps, documents, photographs and artefacts of the area.
If you are researching a local family history, then they have transcribed Parish registers from 1668 to 1965, local Censuses and many more. These may be searched and some information may be available for purchase on CD.
