Summary

Rebecca and David, husband and wife team, purchased the traditional 17th century Hare & Hounds Pub in 2017, in the pretty village of Stramshall. Changing the name to Olive Tree now provide a comfortable, homely, restful and good value Bed and Breakfast.

the Olive Tree offers 4 en-suite bedrooms, 2 of them family suites, 1 double room and a studio apartment for 2 people. They are all well equipped with tea and coffee facilities, TV’s (2 in our family suites) toiletries and added extras like biscuits and bottled water.

A delicious full English breakfast with quality ingredients and free-range eggs as well as cereals, fruit and yoghurts is provided and dietary requirements are also catered for on request.

guest will receive a warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble. there is a licensed bar if you wish to have a drink and although the bar does not serve food guests are welcome to eat a takeaway in our breakfast area.

The Olive Tree is located near to the market town of Uttoxeter, with its own race course, but also within a short drive of local attractions such as Alton Towers theme park, Trentham Gardens and the National Trust properties of Shugborough and Sudbury. Surrounded by beautiful countryside with the nearby Churnet Hills and Ashbourne, gateway to Dovedale, only a twenty- minute drive away.
