Businesses in the East Staffordshire tourism sector are invited to join Discover East Staffordshire and Epona Marketing for two days of insightful workshops focused on increasing visitor numbers, and dwell time.

These FREE workshops are aimed to help businesses:

Stay current with trends: Marketing sessions help businesses keep up with the latest industry trends and techniques, ensuring they remain competitive in a rapidly evolving marketplace. Sustainability is currently one of the top tourism search terms when considering days out and vacations: learn what you are doing well and what you can do in relation to the size of your business.

Enhance Strategy Development: sessions provide insights into effective marketing strategies and tools, allowing businesses to craft more targeted and impactful marketing plans. Public relations and online customer reviews play a crucial role in influencing visitor decisions for day trips and vacations: learn how to do this well.

Build Expertise: Sessions help businesses develop in-house expertise, reducing reliance on external consultants and enabling them to execute successful, personalised marketing campaigns independently. External marketing companies sometimes fail to reflect the personal pride, passion and personality of your business.

Boost Brand Visibility: With advanced marketing knowledge, businesses can create more engaging content, refine their messaging, and increase their overall brand visibility and reach: potentially resulting in increased visitor numbers and dwell time.

Networking: Sessions are collaborative and relaxed, giving you the opportunity to obtain valuable insights from others in your area. You’ll have the chance to build important business relationships, which may lead to innovative solutions and new product developments. Partnering with other businesses may provide access to specialised knowledge and skills that may not be available in-house. Sharing of resources, such as technology or marketing efforts, which can help businesses reach new markets and customer segments by leveraging each other’s networks and market presence.
