Staffordshire’s best tourism and hospitality businesses have been crowned at the 2022-23 Enjoy Staffordshire Tourism and Good Food Awards.

The event, attended by more than 280 guests at the Doubletree by Hilton Stoke-on-Trent celebrated tourism businesses from across Staffordshire, which included a total of 7 East Staffordshire businesses shortlisted for a total of 10 awards. Including, Lower Micklin Touring Park, The Waterfront, Denstone Hall Farm Shop, The Dial Restaurant, Hoar Cross Hall, The Duncombe Arms and Mayfield Snuggery.

The National Memorial Arboretum won the Large Visitor Attraction of the Year, and Play@ Lower Drayton Farm was named the Small Visitor Attraction of the Year.

Large Hotel of the Year went to The Tawny, with Walnut House at The Duncombe Arms named Staffordshire’s Small Hotel of the Year.

Lunar was the Independent Restaurant of the Year, and Duck Goose was the Casual Dining Restaurant of the Year, while Pom’s Kitchen won in the Tea Room/Coffee Shop category, and The Duncombe Arms won Pub of the Year.

And Denstone Hall Farm Shop was once again named the Food & Drink Retailer or Farm Shop of the Year award.
