Great Big Green Week is the UK’s biggest celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature.

We’re inviting people like you to join us for a day of sustainability, creativity and community activities at Burton Market Hall, including:

• Repair Café – Bring along broken or worn items and our skilled volunteers will help repair them for free, giving them a new lease of life.
• Circularity stall – Meet the team behind Circularity, a local charity creating creative, compassionate and collaborative communities through sustainability and reuse.
• Circularity/Woodville WI stall – Meet the ladies of the WI and what they have been up to alongside jams and Jerusalem!
• Eco stalls (more details to follow)
• Recycling information stall – Discover what can be recycled at home and locally, from supermarket soft plastics to blister packs collected at vets.
• Kids’ activity tables – Children and young people are invited to drop-in for colouring and craft activities, with parents welcome to supervise.
• School Artwork Competition – Come and see the creativity of local children, and cheer along as the winners are announced and prizes presented during the event.
• Photography Competition display – See the winning entries on show throughout the day and how Burton and surrounding areas have inspired local photographers.
