The race of all races returns – The Midlands Grand National 2025!🏇

One of the most spectacular sporting days on the region’s calendar, the Midlands Grand National has been the jewel in Uttoxeter Racecourse’s horse racing crown since 1969. Looking for things to do in Staffordshire?

You can expect a day full of heightened excitement, fun and adrenaline rushes as the runners and riders race towards the finishing line to compete for some of the most sought-after titles in the region.

 

The Race of all Races🙌

This top-class Listed Handicap Chase features some of the best chasers and is a true test of stamina for both horse and rider, with a HUGE £160,000 up for grabs – so you are set for an unbeatable day of national hunt racing!

Several of this races’ previous runners have raced to glory in top steeplechase races such as the Aintree Grand National and Cheltenham Gold Cup, so be sure to come and watch the best of the best.

 

Entertainment – Six Nations Rugby & Live Music🎶

As well as the thrilling racing, we also have plenty of other entertainment too! We have a rugby village in the Centre Course where there will be live music, plus we are screening the Six Nations Live Rugby.

Ultimate Post Race Party🏉

After racing, we will be showing Wales vs England at 16:45pm in the Betting Hall where those in the Centre Course will be invited to join. We will also have Radio Murphy performing so whether it’s dancing away or cheering on the rugby… we have got the best of both worlds!
