This Autumn explore the beautiful colours of the Arboretum grounds with exciting Half Term activities. From outdoor trails to arts and crafts and storytelling, there is something for all ages to enjoy this October.

Arbie’s i-Spy: Autumn Trail

Explore the beautiful grounds as you help Arbie search for colourful leaves and other Autumnal treasures in this brand-new outdoor trail.
Keep an eye out for wildlife and trees that reflect the rich colours of autumn. It’s a fun and interactive way to connect with nature and enjoy the magic of the season!

Gather round and take your seats, as storytelling sessions take you on a journey of the imagination.

Explorer’s Passport

Make sure to bring your free Explorer’s Passport and join in all the fun as the Arboretum celebrates its 25th Anniversary.
October half term is the last chance for you to collect your stamps to earn a special prize.

Outdoor Play Areas

At the Arboretum, there are two outdoor play areas available for young visitors to enjoy. The Children’s Sensory Play Garden can be found near to the Remembrance Centre. A second children’s play area, with a picnic area, can be found further into the Arboretum grounds.

Please note: only assistance dogs are permitted within the Children’s Play Areas.
