We want to positively impact the community through helping people and the environment by reducing costs, waste and share useful skills and knowledge. We do not want to negatively impact local businesses that provide equivalent services.

Please bear in mind that this a service run by volunteers in their spare time. We cannot fix anything and everything but will have a go if it’s deemed feasible.

Please contact us via email for queries especially if you’re unsure whether we will accept your broken item for repair. It will help greatly if you send a photo and a description of what’s wrong.

It also helps if you can bring replacement parts. We can source parts but this generally means the repair will take much longer to complete as this is typically done in our spare time. The cost of parts is to be covered by the owner.

Some examples of repairable items:

Electrical items – kitchen gadgets, electric tools, consumer electronics*, TVs, audio & video equipment

Bikes – punctures, chains, gears, brakes, buckled wheels

Clothes – minor repairs and alterations

Zips & Buttons – please bring your replacement zips and buttons

Furniture – small items, i.e. can be carried by 1-person

Toys – anything considered

Jewellery – watch strap adjustments and battery swaps, minor repairs

*We currently cannot repair computers or mobile phones.
