The beautiful barn yard premises include an inviting deli, complete with cheeses, cured meats, home-cooked pastries, pies and quiches, dairy products, olives and other delicious additions.

The award winning butchers has the largest of meat counters, which proudly displays locally sourced, high quality meat selection.

Shums also stocks the very best fruit and vegetables and other perfectly fresh and tasty shopping essentials. 

​Paul provides a wide enough selection to satisfy your every day needs as well as offering some more unusual, special items for a luxurious treat or dinner party splendour!

Green Door Bakery

Green Door Bakery enjoy exploring many types of bread, cakes and patisserie goodies.

BREAD Every day they bake and serve a shop full of fresh bread, croissants, farls, baguettes, soda bread – the list is endless!

CAKES The farm yard bakery has a huge variety, including gluten free options, it’s difficult to choose just one cake. From cheesecakes to traybake, creamy chocolate to fresh lemon this is truly cake heaven. The queues out of the door confirm this and you will find yourself visiting often to sample the many different flavours and baked goods.

DRINKS Green Door Bakery offer takeaway tea, coffee, hot chocolate and smoothies which proves a popular pit stop for locals and walkers and cyclists visiting the area.

​TAKE AWAY COUNTER The bakery also hosts a wonderful savoury take away counter where you can create your own pizza and sandwiches!

CATERING The Green Door has been offering outdoor catering for local businesses and private functions in Staffordshire for over a decade.

ONLINE SHOP you can order online and then collect in store. You can order home-made pizza, sharing platters, afternoon tea selections and picnic lunch bags. Some products can also be posted out too.

Scrummys at the Barn

Another must-see shop at Woodmill Farm is Scrummys at the Barn, run by husband and wife team Jane and Stuart Scrimshaw.

Scrummys supports small independent distillers, producers and crafters, and sells a large range of local beer, cider, gin, rum and wine. The independent store stocks a vast array of products with interesting bottles that make great gift-ideas and talking points. However, if you can’t decide, Jane will put together hampers that are made up in store and include a selection of wines chosen by the knowledgeable staff.

Alongside the the local brewed alcohols, you will find handmade works by local crafters, metalworkers, woodworkers, illustrators, ceramicists, potters and jewellers, which make ideal gifts.
