Quality self-catering holiday cottage and luxury glamping in East Staffordshire, on the edge of the Peak District.
Come and stay at Greenacres in our newly refurbished two bedroom holiday cottage (The Barn) or choose one of our luxury glamping options. We have The Parlour, our Blackdown Shepherd Hut, and Rosebud, our curved, chic and unique Barefoot Caravan. All three are located here at Greenacres; on the edge of the Peak District set in the middle of 11 acres of organic pasture on the edge of the small country village of Denstone, East Staffordshire.
Alton Towers is only 10 minutes from here by car and we’re close to Ashbourne and Leek, which both sit on the southern edge of the Peak District. It’s a short walk to Denstone village and a cosy pub which serves good food.
Greenacres is ideal for walkers, cyclists, nature-lovers, and a lovely place to just relax. Or, for the thrill seeking, Alton Towers is only a few minutes away. Come and stay with us, we would love to welcome you here!
Rosebud Barefoot Caravan
The cutest luxury caravan with a fitted kitchen and bathroom.
The interior is compact, but there’s more than enough space for two. She has a full hot air heating system and hot water supply, a fitted kitchen including fridge/freezer, and a shower/toilet. There’s also a full-sized double bed, which converts into a a comfortable seating area and dining table. There’s a radio, but no TV or DVD player (so if you want to watch your favourite film, bring your laptop with you). For a romantic holiday, it’s perfect. If you’re interested in staying in Rosebud for a holiday or short break (or are thinking of buying a Barefoot caravan and want to try before you buy).
Rosebud’s features:
- A fully equipped kitchen area including 2 ring gas hob, sink and fridge with freezer
- Cooking utensils (including pans and so on), and a cafetiere
- Crockery and cutlery, glassware, salt and pepper, tea and coffee, and olive oil
- Full heating and hot water system
- Bathroom with shower, wash basin and toilet
- Plenty of charging points for any electrical devices and a USB port
- Luxurious seating which converts to a 6ft x 6ft double bed
