Summary
Brizlincote Nature Walk a 4.5 mile route runs through Brizlincote’s grassy fields, orchards, and Stapenhill Woodland paths and passes Winshill Water Tower. The route includes six information boards, each with all the key information about the trail itself and the surrounding wildlife. The boards include activities; see if you are able to spot mammals and birds, including kestrels, buzzards and even peregrine falcons and red kites.
Stapenhill Hollows provides a short riverside walk opportunity for the younger members of the family. Scattered along the paths of The Hollows you will find five wonderful wooden sculptures, along with five rubbing posts to keep the littles ones interested and walking. So don’t forget you crayons and paper!
The Hollows provides wonderful green space for all ages, within walking distance of the beautiful town of Burton upon Trent,for picnics and games in the park.
Highlights:
You can walk along the riverside to Stapenhill Gardens and just a little further to Burton Mail Centenary Woodlands for a longer walk.
