The Stable at the Oaks
The Stables was built with the environment foremost. From locally sourced and hand built windows, reclaimed tiles to using local trade people.
The power is provided by solar panels with no grid electricity. Any rainwater is collected and used for the small holding animals. The heating is provided by a log burner and we use sustainable wood. Hot water is provided by LPG gas a by-product from the oil industry and this helps power the central heating.
The building has been designed to keep the warmth in to help reduce the energy consumption during your stay. We do not use any harmful products within the stables and no pesticides on the smallholding.
Sleeps up to 4 people.
